Urgent Local CURE Deadline Update

11/25/2020

From DCEO (original at https://dceocures.powerappsportals.com/):

All Local CURE Program recipients are required to complete a survey regarding the amount of funds each local government anticipates using from the allotments you have received. The purpose of the survey is to understand how much of your government’s Local CURE allotment you estimate you will be able to claim through eligible reimbursements.

The Local CURE Program rules require DCEO to administer this survey to ensure the State will be able to maximize the use of funds for local government needs.

  • If you do not complete the survey here in the Local CURE Program portal by DECEMBER 1, 2020, your local government’s unused funding allotment will be forfeited and reallocated to other local governments in need of funding.
  • In addition, if you indicate on the survey that you anticipate having unused funds by January 31, 2021, those funds will be redistributed to other local governments in need of funding.
  • You may also use the survey to request additional funding if you have already used or plan to use the entirety of your local government’s allotment.

Note: Your local government’s answers may be revised in the Local CURE Program portal up until December 1, 2020 at 11:59 p.m.

DCEO is committed to ensuring Local CURE funds are fully utilized by local governments and there are a broad range of reimbursable expenses – from staff time to paying for PPE and plexiglass installations for businesses to supporting public health awareness campaigns. We urge all governments to take full advantage of this flexibility by reading about eligible expenses that can be reimbursed by the CURE program and visiting our FAQ page at https://dceocures.powerappsportals.com/faqs/.
