NACo Executive Director Attends UCCI 2021 Annual Conference
UCCI was honored to have Mr. Matt Chase, NACo Executive Director, attend their Annual Conference recently held at Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena, Illinois.
Mr. Chase’s attendance at the July conference was not only as a guest, but as an active participant. During his education seminar presentation, UCCI members were provided an in-depth overview of the U.S. Treasury’s Fiscal Recovery Fund Guidance … how to register and request recovery funds, key use of funds and reporting dates, defining eligible and ineligible uses.
UCCI was also honored to have Ms. Denise Winfrey, NACo First Vice President (Will County, Illinois), and Mr. Tracy Graham, NACo Central Region Representative (Audrain County, Missouri Associate Commissioner), join Mr. Chase as our guests.
On behalf of our membership, the UCCI Executive Committee thanks our honored guests for taking the time from their busy schedules to attend this year’s conference and to all the NACo staff for their support and assistance throughout the year.

UCCI HOLDS ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Representatives from approximately 40 counties attended the 2021 Annual Conference held on July 26th & 27th at Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena.
The conference kicked off with a ‘meet & greet’ reception, providing attendees the opportunity to meet with county board members from across the state, discuss issues impacting units of local government, and learn how other counties are addressing the diverse challenges of serving their constituents and communities.
Following Monday morning's UCCI membership meeting, attendees enjoyed lunch and either a round of golf or an afternoon event for our non-golfers. The day's events concluded with a reception and banquet … an evening of conversation between old and new-found friends, some fun giveaways and musical entertainment.
